We offer both online and book courses. . All courses have been approved with both the Dept of Insurance and Dept of Real estate. Dept of Insurance provider # 20209 and the sponsor approval for the Dept of Real estate is sponsor # 4331. DELIVERY METHODS AND TIMING INTERNET SECURITY POLICY The following policies and procedures apply to any student that has enrolled in a CYBER CE course whether directly through CYBER CE... Direct Enrollment When enrolling directly with CYBER CE, students will be directed to the CYBER CE website at www.cyberce.biz where they may login by clicking on “Member Login”. Students will then be prompted to enter their login “PIN”, user name and password which CYBER CE will provide. At this point, the students will be able to access the necessary course materials. Students that have obtained the “hard copy” book will only need to access exam materials via the internet. Students that choose not to order the “hard copy” book can access the course content as well as the exam materials via the internet. COURSE EXPIRATION All courses expire one year from enrollment date. Once a course has expired you must re-enroll in that course. CANCELLATION A student may terminate enrollment by mailing a notice to Cyber Ce. DBA WCS Publishing by certified mail. The effective date of the cancellation is the date of the postmark. Ounce a course has been purchased,.but not downloaded, the student can cancel and receive a refund. But ounce the course has been downloaded to the student there is no refund. REFUND POLICY Materials Fee - Once purchased, the books and other material are the property of the student. CYBER.CE does not accept the return of books and/or materials. No refunds are given for books and materials. Tuition Fee - Following the procedures above, a student may cancel within ten (10) working days of their enrollment and receive a refund of all tuition monies paid. Refunds due will be made within twenty (20) days of receipt of the cancellation notice. Upon expiration of the ten (10) day cancellation period, no refunds will be made. METHOD OF COURSE PRESENTATION The course offerings may be taken either as a traditional correspondence home study course with books or you can choose to download the material in a PDF format from the CYBERCE website. Students also have the option of taking the final examination online or by traditional paper exam with a proctor. Online Course: If taking the course online, you will go to www cyberce.biz and click on “student login.” At this point you will enter the pin number, username, and password given to you by CYBER CE . From there you will have access to download the material in a PDF format. Book Course: If you choose to take the course as a “traditional” correspondence course you will receive published materials relative to the course offerings you have selected. For the 45-hour package you will receive a book containing six (6) sections, one for each of the courses included in that offering; Ethics, Agency, Fair Housing, Trust Funds, Escrow and Home Inspection.. If you have enrolled in the 15-hour package you will receive a book containing four (4) sections, one for each of the courses included in that offering; Ethics, Agency, Fair Housing and Trust Funds. Also any insurance courses. It is important that you read each section and chapter completely in order to fully cover the information needed to pass your exams. EXAM OPTIONS AND DETAILS You have two options for the final examination, internet testing or with an exam proctor. If you fail the final exam from either of the two packages, you may re-take the final exam up to one year from your enrollment date. Or with calif. Dept of insurance . the exam is a open book exam and will be included if you order a paper test with book. The passing grade for all test is 70%. Dre only allows 15 hr of testing in one 24 hr period. So you will need to take the test over three days in order to complete your exams. When you are ready to complete your final examination you must e-mail cyber CE requesting the exam. The e-mail address of Cyber Ce is info@cyberce.biz. Upon receipt of your request, Cyber Ce will e-mail to you your pin number, username, and password. If you are taking the online course we will add the exam to your existing account. You can access the exam from our websiteinfo.@cyberce.biz. Click on “student login.” Enter your pin, username, and password. This is a timed exam. Escrow, and Home Inspection are each 45-minute exams and Agency, Ethics, Trust Fund Handling, and Fair Housing are each 25-minute exams. If you go over this time your test will automatically be submitted for grading, so please keep an eye on the clock. Once you go through the exam just click on the submit button and your test is automatically graded. It will let you know with a pass/fail result. Dept of Insurance courses does not have a timed test. But you must complete the exam oance you start the test. Please note that your exam cannot be saved and finished at a later time. If you are kicked off line or your computer crashes your information is not saved, so keep this in mind when you are deciding whether to take your exam online or not. If your computer crashes frequently we would not recommend taking an online exam. Otherwise most people don’t have a problem. The DRE and Dept of Insurance does not allow the test to be printed out, copied, or downloaded, so you can not print out, copy, or download the exam. The Exam must be taken during one continuous on-line session so you must remain connected to the Internet the entire time you are taking the exam. At the end of the time allowed for the final exam, the exam will time-out and be graded as-is. Address Phone 800-310-3421.
